Fennel is long duration seed spice crops. Fennel is a member of the carrot family and seeds are popularly known as Saunf in Hindi. Fennel is used in cooking to flavor soups, meat dishes, and pastries. The seeds are used in sausage, and the extracted oil is used in perfumes and soaps. Three varieties of fennel, which are used in different ways: common fennel, sweet fennel and bulb fennel.
